On the vehicles mentioned above, customers have complained about the headlamp adjustment when the vehicle is heavily loaded.
When the vehicle is heavily loaded, the height of the headlamps is not adjusted.
This can result in other road users being dazzled.
The reason for this problem is that the software parameters for the automatic headlamp leveling system are set incorrectly.
The vehicle manufacturer has already addressed the issue and notified the owners of all the affected models. For various reasons, however, it must be assumed that not all vehicles have been checked or modified.
The specialist garage will adjust the parameter settings by updating the software in the IDM (Intelligent Power Distribution Module).
