Reduced heater power
If it is discovered that the interior heater power in the
above-mentioned vehicles is reduced, the cause could be an incorrect coolant mixing ratio.
The following steps should be taken to rectify the problem:
- Check the cooant's mixing ratio or antifreeze (-25 to -30 C°)
- If there are deviations, drain the coolant when the engine is cold
- Fill the water and antifreeze in the correct mixing ratio
- Bleed cooling system
- Perform leak check and functional check
In general, this information can also apply to other vehicles. When there is a heater power problem, a faulty coolant mixing ratio should always be considered.
