David Schajer has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officers of HELLA as of 1 May 2023. He takes over the HR position from Dr. Lea Corzilius, who is leaving the company at the end of April. David Schajer will report directly to HELLA CEO Michel Favre.

David Schajer joined HELLA one year ago as HR Executive Vice President for the Electronics Business Group coming from Faurecia, where he spent 7 years in various HR positions in France, India, and Japan. Prior to joining Faurecia, David spent many years in different international management positions – among others at Alstom and Thales.

His goal in the new position at HELLA? “I want to put employee experience and social responsibility at the heart of everything we do in HR. Our purpose as HR is to support management in driving people development and employee well-being. This is how we create positive impact for our communities and achieve sustainable growth,” Schajer states.

In his free time, what he likes most when not visiting a monument or a museum, is gardening, hiking, and running.
