Mr. Favre, your contract runs until June 30, 2024. Will you continue after that?

First of all, I would like to emphasize that I really enjoy my work here at HELLA. Since I took office, I have grown very fond of the company and all its employees. I am proud to be part of the HELLA family. It is the openness and respect in working together that makes the hustle and bustle of everyday work so much fun. And last but not least, we are actively helping to shape the mobility of tomorrow with our technologies. We can all be incredibly proud of that.

Whether or not I will extend my contract has not yet been decided, but I have to be honest: I am 64 years old and have had a long and fulfilling career. I also have a second family at home who would of course be delighted to have more time with me (laughs). So, the question naturally arises as to when is the right time for me to pass on the baton.

Can you say when a decision will be made?

As with all expiring management contracts, there is a standardized process. This has of course been started in the meantime, but has not yet been completed. Discussions are currently underway. You will understand that I am therefore unable to comment at this stage. As soon as a decision has been made here, we will of course inform you accordingly.

What is particularly important to you now for the coming months?

That we continue the excellent work of recent years. We have achieved a lot: sales and earnings are developing well. We are continuously able to convince our customers of our technological strength and innovation leadership. And this will soon be reflected in Lippstadt with our plans to reshape the headquarters. The synergies from the increasingly close cooperation under the FORVIA umbrella are paying off. Last but not least, we have once again placed our employees at the center of our activities with the global We CARE program. The foundations have been laid for a successful future of HELLA.
