FORVIA's vision and mission offer orientation beyond the current day-to-day business

With FORVIA the seventh largest automotive supplier with more than 150,000 employees has come into existence - a sales target of 33 billion euros is envisaged for 2025. What does FORVIA stand for, what are the goals of the new global player and how does it differ from the competition? The answers to these questions are, among other things, to be expressed in the recently published vision and mission of the newly formed group. In short video statements, the HELLA and Faurecia management teams explain what this new mission statement means to them personally (see below).

"Successful companies are characterized by the fact that they have a clear mission statement and know exactly where they want to go. That is why we have developed a vision and mission for FORVIA. In doing so, we want to set a direction that provides us with guidance beyond the current day-to-day business. This is all the more important in the current time, which is characterized by high volatility and uncertainty," says HELLA CEO Michel Favre. "Our vision and mission give us and our partners clear guidance about who we are, what drives us, and what we stand for. We laid the foundation with the announcement of our mission statement. Now it's about continuing to bring our vision and mission to life."

Two companies, one common mission statement for FORVIA

The vision and mission were developed in a close exchange process between HELLA and Faurecia. Workshops were held with around 60 participants from both companies to jointly consider what differentiates FORVIA from the competition and to define the joint brand positioning. These led to the common mission statement of FORVIA:

Mobility is at the heart of people's lives and of what matters to them: moving freely, caring for the planet, their own way. People expect more than the standard journey: safety, sustainability, environmental impact, comfort and individualization are playing an ever increasingly role with regard to mobility.

The mission of FORVIA
To pioneer technology for mobility experiences that matter to people. We want to bring more than just technology to the market. We want to create experiences - a more sustainable, affordable, comfortable and individual mobility. We want to achieve positive change for everyone with the help of electrification and energy management, safe and automated driving, and digital and sustainable cockpit experiences.

The vision and mission thus sum up what FORVIA is all about. By their very nature, these are highly condensed formulations. For this reason, Faurecia CEO Patrick Koller has already explained the vision and mission in more depth in a video interview. Every business group, every function, every team contributes to this new mission statement. To support the launch of the new vision and mission, various communication materials are available, such as a communication kit for possible internal workshops to discuss the vision and mission internally, posters, and an updated corporate presentation.

In addition, the HELLA and Faurecia management teams explain in short video statements what the mission statement means to them and how their respective divisions contribute to it.
