The UP5.0 is the most powerful vacuum pump in HELLA’s product range. It produces a vacuum for the brake booster and, if necessary, for other auxiliary equipment. It is optimized in terms of cost, design, noise development and efficiency.

The UP5.0 is typically used for standalone applications:

Electric vehicles
Hybrid vehicles (Mild, Full, Plug-in)
Fuel Cell vehicles
Vehicle which (temporarily) cannot provide any vacuum due to their engine concept e.g., direct injection engine concept
Diesel vehicles
