Remote Key Entry system

The Remote Key Entry system enables active vehicle locking and unlocking of the vehicle using radio transmitter keys. This is a cost-efficient, safe and convenient vehicle entry solution with a wide range of functions for individual comfort. The system consists of radio transmitter keys and receivers. Active button control can be used to activate a range of comfort functions, like locking or unlocking vehicle doors or the trunk. An active radio remote control typically has a range of up to 100 m. The radio remote control signals are sent to the receivers in the electronic control unit which evaluates the signals and manages different functionalities.
