Water Circulation Pump / Media Pump (MPX)

The electric water circulation pump, or so-called Media Pump MPX, is HELLA’s answer to the challenges of thermal management in times of e-mobility and operates according to an innovative cooling concept with a high-power density. It moves coolant efficiently through the coolant circuit on demand, provides the battery with an ideal temperature and thereby extends its service life as well as its efficiency. Furthermore, the media pump provides auxiliary cooling in vehicles with an internal combustion engine. ​

• Hybrid or e-vehicles: Coolant flow in e-vehicles can be managed more flexibly and efficiently with HELLA’s MPX. It ensures an optimal battery temperature and increases its lifetime and efficiency.  ​
• Internal combustion or hybrid vehicles: Controlling the temperature of the charge air or other on-demand systems. As a result, both emissions and fuel consumption can be significantly reduced.
