These not only offer enormous luminous efficiency, but also have the added benefit of low energy consumption – which protects the on-board electronics. In addition, the LEDs reach their full brightness immediately, without any delay. They remain efficient and durable, even when they have been in operation for longer periods. The light colour is similar to daylight, which helps the driver to concentrate and relieves strain on the eyes. The LED modules also have a long lifetime of up to 30,000 operating hours, which adds to their appeal.

Compact design for flexible mounting

HELLA lightbars are designed so that they can be fitted easily and flexibly to a wide variety of vehicle types. Even when space is limited – for example on cab roofs, bumpers or side panels – the compact models can find their place. The flat design minimises the area exposed to wind, which is particularly important for fast escort vehicles in heavy haulage for example. Thanks to various lengths, mounting systems and connections, the light strips can be easily installed or retrofitted.
