"Born to be Wild" was also used as the soundtrack for the cult film "Easy Rider" with Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. Who doesn't think of boundless freedom when they hear this song?

"Take it Easy" – Eagles

"Take it Easy" is the first hit by the legendary Eagles and was released in 1972. With its relaxed sound and distinctive guitar riffs, this song is perfect for long drives. And they go there by car, of course.

"I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" – The Proclaimers

This catchy hit by Scottish band The Proclaimers from 1988 is an absolute must on any road trip playlist. Brothers Charlie and Craig Reid are known for their Scottish accents and distinctive glasses. "Highway to Hell" – AC/DC

"Highway to Hell" is one of the most famous songs by the Australian rock band AC/DC. "On the Road Again" -– Willie Nelson

Country star Willie Nelson released this hit in 1980. The song, originally written for the film "Honeysuckle Rose", won a Grammy Award and became one of the artist's most famous songs. And here’s a little anecdote: Nelson allegedly wrote "On the Road Again" on an aeroplane tray table

"Life is a Highway" – Tom Cochrane

The Canadian singer Tom Cochrane released this hit in 1991. The song was later covered by the band Rascal Flatts for the animated film "Cars" and thus gained renewed popularity. This is interesting: Cochrane was inspired for "Life is a Highway" by a trip through Africa, where he witnessed the work of the aid organisation World Vision.

This classic was released in 1946 by Nat King Cole and his trio. The song is an ode to the famous Route 66, which runs from Chicago to Los Angeles, the absolute road trip dream in the USA, not only for Harley riders.
