HELLA opens upgraded Corporate Center in Shanghai

  • The relocation reflects HELLA’s commitment to the Chinese market

Shanghai, December 2, 2021. International automotive supplier HELLA announces the opening of its brand-new joint office for HELLA Corporate Center China and HELLA Trading Company in China to further strengthen its central administrative functions. The new office is located in New Bund area in Shanghai with a total gross floor space of more than 3,200 square meters. HELLA is currently employing about 350 employees in HELLA Corporate Center China and around 40 employees in HELLA Trading Company in Shanghai.

"China is and will continue to be one of the most important markets for HELLA. We are confident about HELLA’s future business development in the Chinese market. That's why we are further upgrading our Corporate Center in China to serve the rapidly growing market and to lay a solid foundation for the future growth path of HELLA in China," says Dr. Marcel Wiedmann, Managing Director of HELLA Corporate Center China. "In the new office, we have a versatile office space and facilities, which can meet the needs of different working scenarios. The application of advanced collaborative working equipment has greatly improved our work efficiency, thus, bringing closer cooperation and communication among departments, regions and countries, while giving full play to the leading and synergistic role of the central functions in China."

The new office is equipped with state-of-the-art office facilities, which are creating a working environment that is more comfortable, more convenient, and highly efficient. The set-up of the new office breaks the invisible walls of the traditional departments by using several flexible modern work patterns while providing an advanced workspace aiding concentration, collaboration, communication, and contemplation. Employees will no longer have dedicated seats but can flexibly choose from a variety of settings according to the nature of what they are doing, combined with a workplace experience that empowers them to use those spaces throughout the day according to business needs.
