Specially designed for demanding applications, the robust HELLA radio control system features a user-friendly unlocking function that allows the construction machinery operator to open the cabin door. Various light functions can be controlled using an additional ECU, which features up to four output signals. These functions include work lights and the convenient coming home function. In addition, the radio control system can be used to implement other vehicle functions, including direction indicator activation and opening/locking the the engine compartment, toolboxes and similar covers.
The system consists of radio transmitter electronics and transponder or radio receiver units. This transponder, which controls the immobilizer function, operates independently of the transmitter electronics and can be defined on an individual customer basis.
The radio remote control contains a holder for a mechanical key bit. The key bit is not included in the scope of delivery and is usually assembled at the customer's premises. The delivery includes two pre-programmed radio transmitter keys associated with the radio receiver.
Teaching in additional radio transmitter keys in the field requires at least one functioning, programmed key. A maximum of 7 radio transmitter keys can be taught in. If the maximum number has been reached, the last key place is overwritten when teaching in another key.
