FORVIA HELLA Receives National “Green Factory” Certification at its Jiaxing Lighting Plant

Shanghai, 3 March 2026. International automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA has announced that its lighting plant in Jiaxing – the company’s largest lighting facility in Asia – has been recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China with the national-level “Green Factory” certification, following its earlier “Green Factory” certification in Zhejiang Province. This recognition underscores the plant’s leading position in sustainable manufacturing and its role as a benchmark for low-carbon transformation in the automotive industry in China.

The national “Green Factory” certification assesses intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy – raising the bar for green development.
