FORVIA HELLA receives technological innovation award from Geely

• It recognizes FORVIA HELLA's localized innovation capabilities demonstrated through a series of collaborative lighting projects with Geely

Shanghai, 1 April 2026. International automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA has been honored with the Technological Innovation Award at Geely Automobile's 2026 Annual Global Partner Conference, held in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province. The award recognizes FORVIA HELLA's localized innovation capabilities demonstrated through a series of collaborative lighting projects with Geely.

Geely's 2026 Global Partners Conference established the awards to honor suppliers demonstrating exceptional capabilities in collaborative R&D, product development and technology application. The conference convened over 500 suppliers from across Geely's global supply chain; only 21 were selected for the distinction of Innovation, underscoring its selectivity. With more than 20 years of collaboration history with Geely, FORVIA HELLA's recognition was grounded in the breadth and technical depth of its contributions to Geely's vehicle portfolio.

Among recent projects, the Zeekr 8X Galaxy Diamond Matrix headlamp represents a milestone as the first full localization of FORVIA HELLA's SSL | HD platform in China — a chip-based, high-resolution headlamp system capable of individually and intelligently controlling around 25,000 LEDs, unlocking new functionalities and raising safety and intelligence to a new level. The Star-Diamond Rear Lamp that FORVIA HELLA developed for the new flagship SUV 9X of Zeekr sets a new standard in aesthetic design with dazzling visual effects that shine and sparkle like diamonds and stars within a very compact space. The Geely Galaxy M9 "Rising Sun" rear lamp, featuring a nearly 1.5-meter-long light curtain that blends advanced lighting technology with Chinese aesthetics, further illustrates the company's capacity to deliver bespoke solutions rooted in local market insight. Together, these projects demonstrate a deep integration of FORVIA HELLA's global engineering capabilities with China-specific design and manufacturing excellence.
