FORVIA HELLA is making a meaningful contribution to the sustainable transformation of China’s automotive industry through a series of impactful local actions. Guided by a robust sustainability governance structure, the company has set an ambitious target to achieve net-zero emissions across its supply chain by 2045. In China, this commitment is embedded in daily operations and strategic initiatives.

The company’s innovative product portfolio, including locally developed lighting and electronics such as the 48V lithium battery management system and high-efficiency RGB LED rear lamps, actively supports the transition to cleaner, more energy-efficient vehicles. AI-driven automation and digital solutions are optimizing research and development, production lines, and office operations, further reducing energy consumption and minimizing environmental impact throughout the entire product lifecycle.

FORVIA HELLA also places strong emphasis on employee care and diversity. In China, more than 37 percent of management and professional roles are held by women, reflecting the company’s commitment to building an inclusive and empowering workplace. Employee safety, well-being, and professional development remain top priorities, supported by comprehensive training programs and robust workplace safety standards.

Beyond the workplace, FORVIA HELLA is deeply engaged in community-focused initiatives. The company supports educational advancement and social development through projects such as book donations to rural schools and collaborations with leading Chinese universities, helping to expand opportunities and foster the holistic growth of the next generation.
