FORVIA HELLA Expands Book Donation Program to Tianjin

• Over 1,000 children's books and comprehensive educational resources are donated, and 7 book corners are established for the school

Shanghai, 12 September 2025. International automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA announced the extension of its book donation program to Baodi District in Tianjin, enhancing its commitment to educational development and community engagement in China. As part of this initiative, over 1,000 children’s books and comprehensive educational resources have been donated to Da Tang Zhuang Primary School, with 7 new book corners established to enrich the school’s learning environment.

The charity program funded by the FORVIA Foundation, to which also FORVIA HELLA contributes, aims to provide quality teaching resources, enhance children’s educational experiences, and foster a lifelong love of reading. By supporting schools with much-needed materials, FORVIA HELLA continues to promote the cultivation of reading habits and inspires curiosity among young learners. The donation ceremony was attended by representatives and volunteers from both FORVIA HELLA and Faurecia, alongside the school’s principal and student representatives, highlighting the shared commitment to nurturing the next generation.

Beyond the donation itself, the charity program is designed to create lasting value for students and the broader community. The event featured volunteer-led virtual classes on automotive knowledge and creative drawing, themed around “Sustainable Cars of the Future.” By integrating hands-on learning with themes of sustainability, these activities encourage students to think creatively about the future of mobility and the environment. Such engagement not only enriches academic resources but also inspires students to become active participants in building a sustainable future, reinforcing the importance of education in driving positive change.

FORVIA HELLA’s book donation initiative has been conducted for three consecutive years since 2023 and has already reached schools in cities such as Changchun in Jilin province and Fuding in Fujian province. This year, the program will continue to donate books to these schools, positively impacting thousands of teachers and students across China. To date, the company has provided more than 3,200 books and quality teaching resources, expanding educational opportunities and supporting the holistic development of young learners. Notably, 35 employees have personally donated 243 books to these primary schools, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of giving and community engagement.
