Hella now offers a fully-active, radio-controlled system for permanently checking and monitoring of tire pressure and temperature: The Hella TC-400 tire pressure monitoring system. The standard TC-400 system monitors four tires, but it has the ability to monitor up to seven tires total. This is useful for monitoring the spare tire's pressure as well as a useful upgrade for drivers with dual rear wheels or small trailers (see specifications below for distance limitations).

Unique to the Hella TC-400 is the adjustable background color of the display. The look of the display can then be matched to your vehicle's instrument lighting.

For proper installation of the monitoring system, the sensor valves must be fitted to all four wheels.
