Hella, Inc. Announces the Promotion of Fred Snow to Vice-President – US Aftermarket Sales

Peachtree City, GA, November 2006. -Hella, Inc., the North American aftermarket subsidiary of automotive lighting and electronics supplier Hella, announced the promotion of Fred Snow to Vice-President – US Aftermarket Sales.

Fred Snow joined Hella, Inc.’s sales team in 1994 and served as a Regional Accounts Manager, National Accounts Manager/Sales Division Manager for spare parts customers, and National Sales Manager for the US Aftermarket. He received recognition from the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and the Auto International Association (segment of AAIA) as Young Executive of the Year in 1997 and 2002 respectively. Currently, he is member of the Young Executive Network selection committee, as well as several other associations within SEMA.

Fred developed a love for racing while attending college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to majoring in Business Management and Economics, he devoted the rest of his time to an apprenticeship as a race mechanic with Korman Autoworks (a well-known BMW tuner). He also built and restored race and high-performance cars at The Power Plant which were featured in several publications such as European Car magazine. Fred began racing Autocross when he was 19 years old and began road racing at 24. In 2002, he won 3rd place in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA EP) for the Southeast with a BMW 320i that he built, raced and maintained himself. In 2006, he placed 2nd place in the SCCA ITA Endurance Championship with Team McKay.

Regarding his plans for the future, Fred commented, “My time at Hella has been a fantastic opportunity to pursue what I love to do. I look forward to growing with Hella and working in an ever-increasing international environment.”
