Hella Australia's growing range of LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps has been accepted as the most advanced one-step solution to problems of lighting in the commercial transport industry.
Since the Hella LED lighting system was first introduced only a few years ago, its advanced and innovative technology has set new standards and received considerable worldwide recognition.
Hella is one of the largest LED component buyers in the world, and we have developed the
technologies that have built millions of units, engineered and tested to the highest standards.
Features & Benefits
LED Technology has enormous benefits for the transport industry, the most obvious being the reduction in maintenance requirements allowing transport operators to significantly reduce vehicle servicing down times, as there are no globes to burn out or holders to corrode.
Hella’s LED lamps are pre-wired for easy installation and manufactured from a new generation acrylic material with enhanced impact resistance and high tolerance to chemicals, salt spray and cleaning fluids for ultra-long service life. Hella’s LED lamps operate with up to 60% less current draw than comparable globe lamps and are required to remain fully operational under severe cold, heat and humidity while being subjected to high levels of vibration. Hella Australia has extensive test and development facilities to prove all of our products, which is why Hella LED lamps come with a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty.
Hella LED lamps are now available for truck, trailer, bus, caravan, marine, mining, emergency and specialty applications. The range includes a large variety of indicators, markers, stop/ rear position, signal, multifunction, reversing and licence plate lamps.
LED Multivolt Technology
One of the leading advantages of Hella’s new LED Technology is the unique multivolt circuitry fitted to most LED lamps ensuring a uniform level of intensity and full light output at any voltage between 8 to 28 volts or 9 to 33 volts. Both configurations allow multivolt LED lamps to be connected to either 12V or 24V electrical systems without modification or the light output being adversely affected by voltage drop often encountered in trailer systems.
DuraLed® Signal Lamps
DuraLed lamps feature unique registered designs with shallow shapes and covered mounting screws for enhanced protection against damage. All lamps are pre-wired with twin-core sheathed cable, fully sealed against dust and moisture to International Protection Standards IP6K6 and IP6K7 and compliant with current ADR (Australian Design Rules), thus approved for use in Australia and New Zealand. The range includes Multivolt Marker Lamps, Multivolt Indicators, Multivolt High Intensity Warning Signal Lamps and a Combination Stop/Rear Position/indicator Lamp with special wide-angle optics for enhanced visibility.

EuroLED® Signal Lamps
Hella has introduced a new range of multivolt EuroLED Stop/ Rear Position, Rear Direction Indicator and Reversing Lamps specifically designed for the bus and coach industry. For the first time, Hella offers matching LED signal lamps to suit all rear functions, including reverse, allowing transport operators to upgrade all required signal lamps on both side and rear of the vehicle to the latest in multivolt LED technology.
The combined use of high-performance single LED technology and precision optics results in a brilliant look along with the benefit of low power consumption. All EuroLED signal lamps are equipped with multivolt electronics for optimum brightness at any input voltage between 9 to 33 volts and feature special wide-angle optics for significantly improved side visibility. The lens is made from acrylic with enhanced impact strength and improved tolerance to chemicals whilst the unique shallow design and low lamp profile effectively reduce the risk of mechanical damage.
