Hella LEDayLine® daytime running lamps produce a highly effective signal light that is specifically designed to increase the vehicle's visibility in road traffic during the day. The lamps switch on automatically when the engine is started and switch off when the main headlamps are activated or the engine is turned off.

In addition to providing maximum visibility during the day, LEDayLine®  lamps can also function as position lights with dimmed light power for innovative front-end styling at night. In this case, the lamps automatically switch to dimmed operation when the main headlamps are activated.

LEDayLine® daytime running lamps are equipped with five powerful high-performance LEDs and individual computer-calculated, faceted reflectors for optimum light distribution in accordance with legal requirements. A clear, pattern-free acrylic lens showcases the distinct one-line matrix structure, giving the lamp its striking and unmistakeable appearance - both day and night.

LEDayLine® daytime running lamps offer the additional benefit of low power consumption and ultra long service life, making them ideal for continuous use. Unlike conventional globe-type lamps, LEDs consume only a fraction of the energy and will last for the life of the vehicle with a service life of around 10,000 hours. In a 12-volt vehicle system, LEDayLine® daytime running lamps operate with a power consumption of only 7 watt per lamp, which does not measurably increase fuel consumption and ensures minimal exhaust emissions.

With an overall compact size and depth of only 90mm, LEDayLine® daytime running lamps can be mounted by simple screw and clipping attachment. The lightweight housing is slanted at an angle of 20° towards the outside, allowing elegant integration into the contours of modern vehicle front-ends.

Hella LEDayLine® daytime running lamps are waterproof and supplied complete with pre-assembled professional wiring harness, relays and three-pin AMP Superseal connector for universal retrofitting.
