Design & Development
Hella Australia designs and develops headlamps and signal lamps in Australia, based on detailed knowledge of the local automotive industry, participation in vehicle development and expert project management. The very latest equipment, including a NATA registered Photometric Laboratory, supports Hella Australia's design and development team.

Laboratory Facilities
Laboratory testing and analysis is carried out to fully support automotive engineering specifications verification. Hella has laboratories dedicated to environmental/physical, optical and chemical processes.

Manufacturing Plant
Polycarbonate lens moulding and coating facilities for the production of state-of-the-art polycarbonate headlamp lenses.

Automatic lines and group workstations incorporate ultrasonic welding, vibration welding, hot plate welding, as well as fully robotised hot-melt glue and assembly facilities.
