Hella’s group headquarters are in Lippstadt, Germany. The brand and products have been present for quite some years in the African market. On 1 December 2008 a new company, Hella Automotive South Africa (Pty) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hella in Germany, was established. This event marked the beginning of a new era for the Hella brand in Africa.
