Xenon spotlight
...for brighter and wider illumination.
Up to now, xenon headlights were only available as low beam lights. Yet the top performance of xenon light is desirable with spotlights in particular, too. The high beam has a longer range and the edges of the road are illuminated significantly better. For car drivers, it is particularly pleasant that the light colour and intensity do not change when the lights are switched from low beam to spotlight. The eye sees consistently pleasant illumination and does not continually have to adapt between xenon low beam and H4 spotlight (as always used to be the case).
Bi-Xenon® headlights from Hella generate low beam and high beam from only one headlight: Thanks to the use of a movable shutter, the light is switched mechanically between the light distributions for low beam and spotlight. That saves power, design space and weight, and helps reduce fuel consumption.
