Essen, September 2014. During the development process for Hella Pagid brake linings, the brake disc – the direct friction partner to the linings – is always taken into account. This is the only way to ensure that the two are optimally attuned to each other in terms of safety, comfort and design life, thus forming the perfect friction pair. In order to guarantee optimum interplay between the lining and the disc, the brake specialist relies on the coated Hella Pagid PRO brake discs, a range of over 700 items that is constantly being expanded.
PRO brake discs from Hella Pagid don't just deliver outstanding braking performance. Thanks to their carefully selected materials, they also add to the look of the car – especially with aluminum rims, for example. The fact that they are fully coated also protects the brake discs from corrosion, thus preventing ugly patches of rust. What is more, the coating removes the need for the protective oil used on oiled brake discs, which has to be removed during installation. This allows workshops to save both time and money. "PRO brake discs from Hella Pagid combine outstanding braking performance, a classy appearance and long-lasting corrosion protection into one," says Dennis Zippel, Product Manager at Hella Pagid. "In light of these advantages, we are gradually replacing the majority of our brake discs with PRO brake discs. We are currently covering more than 75 percent of the demand."
