Lippstadt, October 30, 2014. Lighting expert HELLA will be exhibiting at Bauma China, the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment from November 25 to 28, 2014 in Shanghai, with a comprehensive range of products spanning from worklights, to front and rear lighting, to beacons. The company's trade fair booth (hall N2, booth number N2.448) will also provide visitors with a light testing facility, allowing direct comparison of worklights and different light sources.

LED worklights will clearly be the focus of HELLA's trade fair booth. Visitors will be able to see the Ultra Beam LED, Power Beam 2000, Power Beam 1500, Module 90, Flatbeam Series and third and fourth generation Module 70 worklights. HELLA uses innovative light emitting diodes specifically because of their diverse benefits. LED worklights impress not only with better light but with a considerably longer service life and lower energy consumption at the alternator. What's more, LED worklights are maintenance-free and downtimes and repair periods are reduced to a minimum due to the long service life of the light emitting diodes. The color temperature of LEDs is higher than that of halogen bulbs. This achieves daylight-like illumination, which is better adapted to human vision and allows colors to be distinguished more easily. The reduction in stress on the eyes leads to an increase in ability to concentrate for more precise, productive and safe working. In addition, HELLA will be presenting the high-performance LED worklight HypaLUME. This headlamp provides perfect lighting in any work situation with more than 20 000 lumens and several illumination variants. Measuring 500 x 380 x 170 millimeters, the HypaLUME is ideal for use in heavy construction vehicles.

HELLA will be presenting a world first with the combination headlamp C140 LED. This is the first combination headlamp in the world where all of the light functions have been implemented using LED technology. The special free-form reflector together with the LED light source creates significantly better lighting than headlamps with halogen bulbs. Due to the daylight-like light color, this is better adapted to human vision and allows for fatigue-free working at night. The housing of the C140 LED is made of aluminum and has cooling fins on the back. Thanks to its robust heavy duty bracket and a lens made of hardened, unbreakable plastic, the C140 LED is also particularly resistant to vibration and impact, making it ideal for tough usage conditions on construction vehicles. This headlamp is suitable for use with 12 and 24 volt vehicle electric systems and meets the requirements of both ECE and SAE.
