Lippstadt, March 26, 2014. Simple, innovative, sustainable – from March 30 to April 4, the lighting expert, HELLA, will be presenting complete LED lighting solutions for indoors, outdoors and for the industrial sector at light + building 2014, the world's biggest trade fair for lighting and building technology, which is being staged in Frankfurt am Main. HELLA's focus this time (Hall 5.0 / Stand A70) revolves around new and exciting concepts, innovations such as the LED light line system known as IL2 PLUS, the improved Eco Module with 2,500 lumens, the innovative module called Eco Circle and also the new cubic street lighting series, the Eco CubeLine.
With its new LED light line system, IL2 PLUS, HELLA is able to offer a flexible solution for the specific illumination of industrial sites, production locations, logistics centers and also supermarkets. As a result of its innovative LED technology, this light line system boasts a very long service life while at the same time having low energy costs, low maintenance costs and low repair costs. And thanks to its modular construction, the system can be swiftly and flexibly adapted to suit a huge variety of application areas. In the very rare cases of repair work, components can be easily replaced.
With the new Eco module, which is available in the 2,500-lumen variation from April 2014 onwards, HELLA is bringing out the optimized version of a tried-and-tested product. And the renowned lighting manufacturer once again succeeds in proving the worth of this modular system with its great capacity for innovation and its guarantee of a rosy future. The new module primarily enables the light output and the ecological balance of both the Eco StreetLine and also the IndustryLine series to be yet again improved. The quick and easy changing of the module is still carried out via the plug&play system by using the same interface as in the past. Furthermore, this new variant, just like its predecessor, wins everyone over with its very long service life and its low maintenance and repair costs, features which can be attributed to its innovative LED technology.
We can also look forward to the presenting of the LED module, Eco Circle, HELLA's energy-efficient product innovation in the field of decorative street lighting. Eco Circle is a solution which perfectly and precisely meets today's requirements and even makes older decorative lights fit for the future. It is exactly these older lights, although oozing charm with their decorative appeal, that often have a very high energy consumption and the resulting equally high CO2 emissions. They are consequently responsible for constituting a burden not only on the budgets of cities and municipalities but also on our environment and our climate. The Eco Circle module, which is kitted out with 14 light emitting diodes, has a power consumption of just 25 watts, an amount significantly lower than the consumption of conventional street lights. Given its better light distribution, its optimal thermal management and a long service life, the new module is the perfect solution for existing decorative lamps and lanterns adorning attractive plazas and stylish streets.
At the light + building exhibition, HELLA will also be showing for the first time the new street lighting series of Eco CubeLine - a further addition and development based on the tried-and-tested modular product family of Eco StreetLine. With its minimalistic design and clear-cut contours, the Eco CubeLine top-mounted luminaires are set to become veritable eye-catchers on the streets and, because of their variability, they can be adapted to suit virtually every illumination situation. These products, available in four different kinds of lighting technology and equipped with one, two or four independent Eco modules, are able to give optimal illumination to streets and plazas of varying sizes and to their surrounding areas. Thanks to the new 2,500-lumen module, outstanding values as regards scaleable luminous efficiency and light output will now also be achieved. In this way the level of road traffic safety will be increased and the positive ecological contribution made by LED street lighting will be once again proved.
As well as the Eco IndustryLine wet room lights, a whole range of other exhibition highlights will be presented in Frankfurt: these will include the product updates of the shoplights LED interior light series, universal design spots, area lights and downlights with improved energy efficiency and an extended product family.
