HELLA expands Eco StreetLine family

The new linear luminaire Slim stands for modularity, efficiency and sustainability

Lippstadt, 5 March 2013. With the Slim, lighting experts HELLA are immediately offering a new LED lamp for illuminating radial and residential roads. The linear luminaire is based on the existing design for the Eco StreetLine, whose modular construction ensures uncomplicated maintenance. Illuminations suited to requirements can be achieved thanks to a variety of optics. Furthermore, one or two modules, a longer or shorter variant, can be used. The Slim can be adapted to local conditions, the design is attuned to the street layout of the lampposts. Aside modularity, the new LED lamps are above all extremely sustainable. The integrated LED technology ensures energy efficiency and an average design life of over 50,000 hours, meaning around twelve years of service in normal use. As with other lamps from the Eco StreetLine street lighting concept, HELLA offers a five-year guarantee for the LED modules. In addition, installing the Slim can also provide a solution to the difficulties in procuring spare parts that often occur for older linear luminaires in particular. Another positive aspect is the good cost effectiveness, which helps the amortization of the lamps.
