In fiscal year 2010-2011, HELLA Group saw a 23 % increase in sales to € 4.4 billion. Adjusted sales were therefore 17 % above the comparable precrisis levels. The Automotive (including Lighting and Electronics), Aftermarket, and Special OE & Industries business activities all made a proportional contribution to this considerable growth and the € 268 million operating result. Success drivers included the high attractiveness of our product portfolio, the company’s excellent positioning in the high-quality and premium-class vehicle segments, and its extensive, global market coverage. Looking to the future, we intend to develop our strong technological position in the LED , energy management, and safety feature markets, and to further expand our global development and production footprint, especially in China.
